In my spare time I have been working on a FSX version of Flabob Airport. The significant differences between this version and my FS2004 version will be 1) Ground polygons 2) Bump mapping 3) Detail Don't expect this finished very soon, though. Designing in FSX is different then FS9 and my spare time to work on it is still limited. Here's a sneak peek for you!

While in the middle of this project I encountered a few problems. One of them being the fact that I once again was busy with school and work.
I've also had strange problems with the ground polygons floating which hasn't been completely fixed yet.
May have to put the project aside for awhile and work on another scenery then come back refreshed and ready to start it again.
As always, open to suggestions for future sceneries. For now, I'm looking for small airports that won't get me in over my head trying to design them FSX. Baby steps... ;D

I was able to do a lot of work on the taxi-lines and tarmac polygons today. So here is a screenshot of where Flabob stands as of now:

Another quick update.. -Added hold lines, center lines, and other markings -Started work on layer 5 which consists of tar streaks and cracks to add texture to the plain tarmac

You ran the installer and it stops at loading scenery? None of the beta testers had this problem. Anymore information you can give me to help?
